What is EpokSports?
A community app for running games. You create a community, invite your group, and organise sessions in it. The app handles the pairings, the rounds, the scoring and the standings, and keeps the results afterwards.
Do I need an account to look around?
You can open the site without one. To join a community or play a session you need an account in the app.
Which sports does it work with?
It is built around the session rather than the sport. Padel, tennis, badminton, squash, table tennis, pickleball, football, basketball, volleyball, handball and billiards are set up already, more keep being added, and there is a custom option for anything else.
How many people do I need?
Two is enough for a head to head. Rotating formats want four or more, and the group formats want eight or more. Communities of forty to a hundred are typical.
Does money go through the app?
Hardly at all. There is no player subscription. A player who organises a league or a tournament pays a one-off fee to publish it, and a facility pays for its subscription — those two, through Stripe, and nothing else. Court bookings and coaching are paid in cash at the venue, and an entry fee an organiser sets is settled between the people involved, off EpokSports entirely. We take no cut of any of it.
What do the paid tiers cost?
For a player, publishing a league is $15 and publishing a tournament $10, each a one-off paid by whoever organises it — there is no player subscription. For a facility, being listed is free, Pro is $75 a month or $765 a year, and Premium is $150 a month or $1,530 a year. Everything else is free, including every session format, joining any competition, and finding and booking a court. There is no checkout on this website — to start on Pro or Premium, write to us and we will set it up.
How do I cancel?
For most people there is nothing to cancel: playing is free, and the publish fees are one-off purchases, not subscriptions. The only subscription is a facility one, and a venue cancels it in the console whenever it likes — no notice period and nothing to ask us for. It stops renewing and the tier runs to the end of the period already paid for. The refunds page sets this out in full.
How do court bookings work?
Search the venues listed, look at their courts, hours and prices, and book a court for your session. You pay the venue in cash, at their counter. No card goes through EpokSports, we take no cut, and a question about a booking goes to the venue.
How do I know when something happens?
Two ways. Push notifications on your phone for the things that need you — a session invitation, a reminder before it starts, a score to confirm — and the bell in the header inside the app. You choose whether to allow push when you are asked, and you can change it later on your device or in Settings.
Is there an app?
There is a web app and an iOS app. Android is not part of this release.
Can I get my data or delete my account?
Yes. Both are handled in Settings inside the app. The privacy policy sets out what is held and for how long.
Something is wrong with a result
An organiser can undo a confirmed score while the session is running, and can also correct scores after the session has been completed. Standings and results update to match. If you cannot reach your organiser, write to us with the community and the date.
How money works
Two things can be bought from EpokSports, both through Stripe: a facility subscription, and a one-off fee to publish a league or a tournament. Everything else stays outside the platform. Court bookings and coaching are paid in cash at the venue, and where an organiser sets an entry fee it is settled between the people involved. We take no cut of any of it, hold none of that money, and issue no receipt for it.
