Privacy policy

1. Who holds your data

EpokSports, Inc. holds and controls the personal data described here. Questions and requests about your data: privacy@epoksports.com. For anything else: support@epoksports.com

2. What we collect

Account details: display name, username, email address, and a profile photo if you add one.

Sporting activity: sessions you take part in, scores, results, ratings, standings, communities you join and awards you receive.

Social activity: follows, messages you send inside the platform, and votes such as player of the match.

Billing data: if you take out a subscription, the plan you are on and its status. Your card details are entered with Stripe and held by Stripe, not by us.

Device tokens: if you allow push notifications, the token your device gives us so we can send them. Turning notifications off removes it.

Technical data: device type, browser, and basic usage needed to run and debug the platform.

3. Why we use it

To run the platform: create sessions, work out pairings and rounds, record scores, and build standings and season records.

To show your activity to the people you share a community with, and to your followers according to your settings.

To keep the platform safe, prevent abuse, and fix faults.

4. What other people see

Members of a community can see your display name, the sessions you played in it, your results and where you sit in its standings. Profiles and follower lists follow the visibility settings on your account.

Guest participants added by an organiser appear by the name the organiser entered.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We use a small number of providers to run the service: Supabase for the database and authentication, Google for sign in if you choose to sign in with a Google account, Stripe for subscription payments, Vercel for hosting, and Anthropic for generating match reports from match data. Where you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture from Google, and we use them only to create and run your account.

We share data when the law requires it.

6. How long we keep it

Account data is kept while your account is open. You can delete your account in Settings, and personal data is removed within 30 days of deletion.

Results already recorded in a community may remain in that community's history in a form that no longer identifies you.

7. Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to particular uses. Access, export and deletion are available in Settings, and you can also write to privacy@epoksports.com.

You have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live.

8. Notifications

We send push notifications about your games — an invitation to a session, a reminder before it starts, a score waiting to be confirmed, a result or a standing that has moved. You choose whether to allow them when you are asked, and you can turn them off at any time on your device or in Settings. Notifications are also shown inside the app.

We send email for account matters: signing in, confirming your address, and security notices. We do not send marketing email or text messages.

9. Cookies

We use cookies that are necessary to sign you in and keep your session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

10. Children

The platform is not for children under 13, or under the higher minimum age set by the law that applies to you, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has an account, write to us and we will remove it.

11. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will show a notice inside the app. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
